The University of West Alabama Facebook account has over 22,450 followers and more than 19,000 likes. Its Instagram account engages an audience of over 6,770 followers. With a dynamic mix of photography, videography, graphic design, and news releases, content is carefully curated to appeal to a diverse audience that includes prospective students, current students, families, alumni, the Livingston community, and both current and potential donors. Managing the university’s social media presence involves not only maintaining brand consistency and visual appeal but also strategically crafting messages that inform, engage, and inspire across platforms—helping strengthen UWA’s visibility, reputation, and connection with its community.

2024 Football Playoffs Paid Social Campaign

This targeted advertising campaign supported UWA’s 2024 football playoff run with a focus on fundraising and ticket sales. Two ads encouraged donations for postseason expenses, while a third promoted ticket sales for the first-round home game. With a modest budget of just $190 and a runtime of less than 48 hours, the campaign delivered impressive results—43,492 impressions, 34,501 reach, and 653 link clicks—demonstrating the power of strategic design and audience targeting.

2024 Giving Tuesday Campaign

These graphics were created as part of an organic campaign to support UWA’s annual Giving Tuesday initiative, with a strong focus on showcasing students—the heart of the university’s mission. The campaign highlighted the real impact of donor support. Designed to foster emotional connection and community pride, the content encouraged giving by showing how contributions directly benefit UWA students.
